I’ve tried the damn lottery for 15 years and never won

Same.

Had to reach way back to find this topic. I have made a couple of additions lately. Here is my current stock.

As much as I would like it to be Cleveland, I voted for the Bengals.

It's absolutely terrible in the Mansfield area. Between the haze and the smell, this is the worst day of it that we have had.

Chamblee is the worst.

I think that some nasty stuff came out during the discovery phase of the lawsuits. The only way for the PGA Tour to keep it quiet was to settle. Rory, Tiger, and the other top pros who turned down massive amounts of easy money have to be beyond pissed right now.

On the funny side of it, Brandel Chamblee and Eamon Lynch have to be devastated. I will enjoy that.

Fred Garvin replied to "Traffic Situations" at 09:28 am

When I took my driving test WAY back in 1976, I had to turn left from a 2 lane road into a 4 lane road (traffic light controlled). The instructor deducted 5 points because I turned directly into the right lane. He said the law was for me to turn into the closest (left) lane. I don't know if that law has changed over the years or not, but it's one I always remember since he told me I was wrong.

Hell, that was so long ago we had to parallel park (instead of the cones).

My company works Monday - Thursday, 10 hours per day. We have been doing this for a year, and everybody loves it. I am so used to 3 day weekends now it would be difficult to go back to a 5 day workweek.

I’ve lost the lottery every year, for as long as I can remember.

Me too. Every damn year. "A tradition unlike any other", I guess.

I have the Ring wired. Love it. I do pay the monthly fee, but it is minimal. It took a minute to zero in the motion area (don't alert me if somebody is walking by on the sidewalk), but once that was set up it has been great.

Only down side, I could not get it to work with my existing chime. Don't really need it though. When somebody rings the doorbell the phones go off as well as my Alexa devices.

If you call Ring, they'll send you a new chime for free. It's nice because the new ones have a built in night light

A month ago I was lucky enough to come across a bottle of Fable and Folly. Made by Orphan Barrel. It's a blend including what's left of Rhetoric, Barterhouse, and other rye and corn whiskeys.

Absolutely love it.

Niiice.

I finally found Old Forester 100 proof rye in the wild again so I'm enjoying a Manhattan right now.

Brought this back again. This time my wife hit the bottle lottery. Weller 12 year (black label). Love it. Very smooth.

My company does not pay if you are on jury duty. I know it could be a hardship for smaller companies, but across the board I feel that employees should be paid for that.
